Frequently Asked Questions
Once the seal has failed on double-pane insulated glass units (IGU) the glass will begin to fog and must be replaced. This is due to the primary and secondary seals separating from the glass allowing the insulating gas (Typically argon) to escape and for moisture to enter between the panes which cannot be cleaned.
This does not mean the entire window needs to be replaced! We offer a wide selection of glass replacement options including tempered, obscured, tinted and mirrored glass units designed to fit your window frame and application. Should the window frame be damaged, we also offer full window replacement options.
Yes! We offer a wide range of options for single pane glass replacement. Single pane replacement is also available on select antique style wood windows including those in buildings that are part of the National Register of Historic Places.
No, we only offer replacement glass options. While it is technically possible to fix cracked/chipped glass using UV resin injection (A process commonly used for auto glass) we don’t recommend or offer it on windows or patio doors for quality and safety reasons.
Repairing broken frames usually depends on the extent of the damage and the age of the window/door. If just the sash (Sliding portion) of the window or the door panel is damaged it may be possible to get a replacement if the style is still in production. If the exterior frame is damaged the repair options are limited to temporary epoxy sealing and we recommend complete replacement of the door/window.
For your security and accurate invoicing we currently only accept payments through Stripe at no additional cost to you. There are no hidden fees and free financing available to those who qualify.

Window glass is extremely hard and durable but it can be scratched if cleaned using abrasives or harsh chemicals. We recommend cleaning your glass using an ammonia-free spray window cleaner and a soft non-scratch towel.
We do not advise the use of scouring pads, scrapers or abrasive cleaners as these may damage the finish of the glass and void the manufacturers warranty. For more information please view the following PDF provided by the National Glass Association (NGA/GANA):
